Close without snarking at each other, yes, that's good. :-)
Previously, they'd have been making faces at each other and raising hackles. Willing to slump down and sleep in each other's presence is a major improvement.
Also have determined that one of the major issues was percieved resource guarding - Each are fed in their crate. Their crates are close to each other... Race for the crates == race for the food. Even if there isn't any. Bad idea. Especially at a chokepoint. Easiest solution has been to start closing them in before feeding - Removes the 'race' motivation, as it doesn't matter *who* is first to the crate, no food until the doors close. That, and no longer allowing toys to remain in crates whilst the doors are open - Again, high value (which might be stolen) == tension. Remove the high value, there's no longer a need to race to protect the toys, tension goes waaaay down.
Ex-Sailor. Ex-Recruiter. Ex-IT consultant. Ex-Pizza Boy. "Ex" a lot of things, really.
Currently, I'm a dog nut. No, not doughnut. I'm into dogs. Well, that, and my family. And my guns... ;-)

I love your comments almost as much as your posts. Man, you know your stuff.
Hope your Thanksgiving was a happy one.
Michelle, sometimes it's just a process of observation and elimination (and no, not in that way. :p ).
Eric, that was just fun! Thanks!
